Membership in Sigma Theta Tau is an honor conferred on students in the baccalaureate and graduate programs who have demonstrated excellence in their nursing program. Georgia State University is home to the Epsilon Alpha Chapter of Sigma Theta Tau National Honor Society in Nursing.
DePauw University's 179th Annual Commencement was held on May 20th. A total of 473 undergraduates were awarded degrees during the program, which took place in Holton Memorial Quadrangle.

The second-seeded Wesleyan University volleyball team posted a 3-1 comeback victory in the NESCAC title game over top-seeded Tufts on Sunday afternoon at Cousens Gym in Medford, Mass. With the win, the Cardinals earn at automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament, as they will be making their first appearance since the 2001 season.
Zoe Ryan-Hubbard awarded Center for Innovation & Growth Ratcliffe Fellowship at Baldwin Wallace University
Baldwin Wallace University's Center for Innovation & Growth (CIG) is pleased to announce the 2017-18 CIG Ratcliffe Student Fellows. The group of 33 students, representing 30 majors, will spend the upcoming academic year turning passion into opportunity via innovation, entrepreneurship and integrity-based leadership. The fellows will meet with global and local leaders in innovation, and work on projects that will give them first-hand experience.
A total of 47 first-year Carthage College students won scholarships ranging from 75 percent of tuition to full tuition, room, and board through a variety of scholarship competitions.
Eleven Ithaca College students recieved the "MLK NOW" Award for their above-and-beyond service during the college's annual MLK Day of Service, which concluded a week of educational workshops and performances. The "MLK NOW" Award is given to one student from each volunteer group who demonstrates servant leadership and exceptional teamwork. The winners are voted on by the members of their group.
Dean's Honor Roll status is awarded to students who successfully complete a minimum of 12 credit hours and maintain a grade point average of 3.5 or higher.
Fifteen students from Ithaca College interned at the PTTOW! SESSIONS in New York City on Nov. 1.
Nearly 600 high school seniors competed in Augustana College's annual Scholarship Competition on January 17, 2015. Students competed for $4,000 scholarships awarded by each academic department at Augustana. Winners of the scholarships will be notified by March 1, 2015.
BSU provides leadership opportunities for its members, sponsors activities that furnish social and academic enrichment for black students, and works to strengthen the image of black students in the Carthage community. BSU aims to build respect and tolerance between all races, and foster a unified bond between all students. The group is open to all interested students.
